French Blood – Mr. Pig
Through short stories linked together by a bloody red thread, a collective of 30 French directors is experimenting with a new approach to the anthology of horror and fantasy. A young geek addicted to horror films is undressed by a pervert zombie, a group of friends are stabbed with a machete by a couple of degenerates, and an old bestselling author is found dead in his mansion, while a deranged killer roams the area.
Mr. PIG is the first part of this much discussed, highly-anticipated and hyper-stylized contemporary film noir series, FRENCH BLOOD, which offers up a showcase of perfect French Horror – bloody, gritty, unforgiving but oh-so-stylized!
The film is presented in it’s original French version, but included in the package is also a version that includes English language subtitles.
At the Munich Olympics in 1972, A Palestinian terrorist group stormed the Israeli athletes’ quarters. The world watched as eleven hostages were taken and later killed. Four women were impacted by that day. This is their story.
The film unfolds in several languages: German, Hebrew and English. All non-English dialog is subtitled.
The second part of the French Blood Trilogy. Heads will be chopped! Scissors will cut flesh! Throats will be slashed! The FRENCH BLOOD series is an anthology of super-stylized French Independent Horror films that are not for the faint of heart. Mr. Rabbit - the second part of this series - delivers on its promise to be "twice as bloody" as part 1 (Mr. Pig- which can be found here: vimeo.com/ondemand/frenchblood) . Deeply disturbing and horrific, in the best way!
The film is available with English subtitles or in it's native format, without.
Anthrax is a found footage mystery that tells the story of Israeli soldiers who volunteered to take part in an anthrax vaccine experiment during their military service. Seven years later they discover the vaccine has disastrous side effects. They set out to expose the truth and save their own lives. The film confronts a real scandal by combining it with fictional dramatized narratives, using documentary aesthetics and blurring the line separating between reality and fiction. A conspiracy thriller, based (mostly) on a true story.
