Heretic
Father James, A troubled Catholic priest, finds his faith crushed when a young girl he promises to protect commits suicide. Months after her death, he is forced to return to his old parish and to the scene of her suicide, a derelict mansion house. Trapped in the house overnight James becomes convinced that he is being haunted by the ghosts of the girl and her dead Stepfather, who have risen from the grave to seek retribution for the awful tragedy that he allowed to take place.

Six stories, five directors, one night! The film unfolds during Nuit Blanche, a massive annual all night, city wide, art festival. Striving for the Present - Part A is an experimental film that combines a fictional character in a documentary setting. The film revolves around an old homeless man who has given up all normal aspirations (Shelter, family, work) and spends his days wandering the streets endlessly. The random encounters with real characters that stumble upon his way allow the viewer to observe reality with a fresh outlook that combines critique and compassion for the world we live in.
Cindy returns home to the countryside with her new boyfriend Mark, along with her childhood "friend" Nathan and his girlfriend Jennifer, after her father passes away unexpectedly. Apparently, her father was into some twisted religious cult which used to sacrifice people in a lake and Cindy's return awakens evil spirits called "the Drowned" by the locals. Two young men come running out of a dark alley, leaving behind another young man with his neck stabbed. The moment Danny received the message about the murder of Itzik, his only son, his life would never again be the same. Ten years of legal proceedings and new disclosures made during that time have slowly crumbled his faith in gaining justice. Along with the pain of his loss, he realizes that only he can find the truth of what happened that night.
