It follows the personal process of Santoshi Tudu, a Bengali farmer who is discovering new awareness of her rights as a woman, and it has the testimony of relevant personalities in the current political and social reality of India. Behind India shows us the strength of its social movements through renowned activists, and anonymous and courageous women like Santoshi.
