After environmental activist Kharis Redwater is called back to the living world by her mother Mary Lynn after a questionable "accident" that cost Kharis her life, an ancient spirit is reborn outside of a small northern town out of revenge for the loss of her daughter's life. Trapped in the house overnight James becomes convinced that he is being haunted by the ghosts of the girl and her dead Stepfather, who have risen from the grave to seek retribution for the awful tragedy that he allowed to take place.
A captive is manipulated by her narcissistic stalker/attacker an attacker well-versed in corporate communication and who happens to be an actual vampire. The vampire uses manipulative propaganda and threatening insinuations to compel her to remain. The film's aesthetic is a psychological horror film referencing both American Psycho and the blood-red glow of the TED-talk stages.
In the Viking Age in Norway, sisters Sn frid and White-Star have taken different paths in life. Sn frid is a witch and medium to the Gods, while White-Star has turned into an outlaw viking. After White-Star kills the son of the king during a battle, the insane Queen Gunhild gives Sn frid an ultimatum: the queen will have Sn frid's husband killed, unless Sn frid assassinates her own sister.
