Seventeen-year-old Kat Malone, a music-obsessed high school student, dreams of breaking into the industry. When she stumbles upon a struggling band called Dollar Days, she seizes the opportunity by posing as a seasoned band manager in her twenties. Two young men come running out of a dark alley, leaving behind another young man with his neck stabbed.
