On his 18th birthday, TJ receives a mysterious key from a stranger along with a final message from his father, who was hauled off to prison eight years prior. The key unlocks an old 1968 convertible with a coffin welded into the trunk, along with a request to reunite 3,000 miles away. Teaming up with his best friend Jake, TJ embarks on a humorous, resilient journey, realizing life's longest roads can lead home.
